Summer Visitors on Campus

While summer can be a slow season for many campus areas, it is a time that Event Sales and University Events ramp up and to serve more than 40 summer overnight programs. Each week, Event Sales will send an update on the groups you can expect to see on campus at Seattle University. In the upcoming few weeks, you may see guests around campus from the following programs:

New Programs: 

• Fred Hutchinson interns:
  The Science Education Programs at Fred Hutch have invited scholars and teachers from diverse institutions to participate in programs at their facility. They are staying in Seattle University housing for between three and nine weeks.
• General Intern housing: Seattle University provides living accommodations for students from colleges and universities from all over the US (and a few international ones!) who are participants in an internship program in the Seattle area; many of these students will be staying all summer. For the past two years, we have had an average of 140+ interns in standard residence halls and apartments.
