Zoom 6.0 and 120 Day Data Retention Update

Zoom Workplace 6.0 will be pushed to all of campus next week starting on June 10. More information can be found at IT Services. Opt in early via Company Portal on your workstation.

On Friday, June 28, ITS will update the data retention policy for all recordings to enforce deletion after 120 days have passed. After that date, all recordings older than 120 days will be purged. This will include all cloud recordings and any AI summaries. 

Zoom recordings associated with Canvas may be saved by manually uploading individual recording files into Studio or enabling Canvas Zoom recordings to automatically save within Studio using this guide. SharePoint or OneDrive can also be utilized for storage needs.
