On-Track Summer Grant Program Pilot
Posted: April 6, 2024
Seattle University recognizes that the transition to the academic pace and rigor at the university level can stretch many students and sometimes lead to grades lower than they expected or are capable of earning. As an example of our commitment to helping students get back on track academically, the university is pleased to pilot the On-Track Summer Grant program for undergraduate students meeting the established criteria this summer quarter 2024.
First-year, undergraduate students who entered SU in either Fall 2023 or Winter 2024 and received a D+, D, D-, F or W grade in two or more courses are eligible to receive a Seattle University On-Track Summer Grant, equivalent to the cost of tuition for two undergraduate summer courses. The On-Track Summer Grant may only be applied to courses taken during summer quarter 2024 and is not transferable to other academic terms. Mandatory fees for the summer quarter still apply and are not covered by the On-Track Summer grant.
Eligible students for this pilot were sent a message on April 3, and are encouraged to schedule a meeting with their academic advisor to discuss what summer course/s being offered would be most beneficial for their major or academic interests. Most summer courses are offered online so students who will not be in Seattle or with other summer commitments can still access this opportunity. The list of 2024 Undergraduate Summer Course Offerings can be found here.
