Gaffney Chairs Dr. Rob Efird and Dr. Christina Roberts, and the Indigenous Peoples Institute are delighted to invite you to attend a spring gathering focused on "Awakening our Plant Relationships: An Introduction to Regional Plants and Indigenous Teachings." The event will feature Indigenous knowledge keepers Azure Boure' (Suquamish), Mariana Harvey (Yakama), and Itsa Shash (Indeh, Mexica, Xicano Indio), as well as educator, author, herbalist and native plant specialist Elise Krohn who has 18 years of experience working with tribal communities.

All are welcome to attend. Join for the afternoon or stop by for a portion of the event to learn more about connecting with our plant relatives in the region.
