CEIE December Message Features Rev. Justin Almeida
Posted: December 5, 2022
The Center for Ecumenical and Interfaith Engagement’s December message comes from School of Theology and Ministry alumnus and CEIE Advisory Council member Reverend Justin Almeida.
Rev. Almeida shares on the center being “...committed to being a beacon of connection between and within traditions of faith, spirituality, indigenous, and cultural wisdom. In service, it spreads the light of human spirit locally, nationally, and internationally. In creativity, it shines human loving kindness through webinars, workshops, and other sources of theological praxis. It convenes under the light of spirit, heart, and mind, bringing together the best of humanity in conversations of immediate importance to human wellbeing and flourishing. Its light explores the depths of human participation in the work of creation.”
He also speaks about his understanding of the discernment that happens at this time of year and the longing for light.
Rev. Almeida expresses an invitation to join him and register for the Art of Spiritual Direction Winter Workshop, that he is looking forward to attending. He also highlights the Dec. 8 hybrid webinar with Elise DeGooyer and Faith Action Network, which is online and in Student Center 130.
