Y. Alice Chan is co-founder and executive director of the Centre for Civic Religious Literacy. She completed her Ph.D. at McGill University and is the recipient of the American Education Research Association‘s Religion and Education Special Interest Group‘s Dissertation of the Year Award for 2020. 

The Center for Ecumenical and Interreligious Engagement (CEIE) believes that religious literacy allows us, as a society, to understand one another on a finer measure and that this, in turn, will allow for a greater peace in our world, free from the harshness of religious bullying, violence and terrorism.
