CEIE Student Affiliate Presents March Message

“Being one of the four undergraduate Student Affiliates is an incredible experience because it has allowed me a platform to grow personally and professionally,” Zachary Dar said, reflecting on his student experience of leadership within CEIE.
CEIE Student Affiliate Zachary Dar is a third-year undergraduate student earning his bachelor's degree in forensic science. He is the current president of Seattle University’s Infinity Club, an on-campus group devoted to supporting neurodivergent students.

- Registration for the Workshop Series on the “Art of Spiritual Direction” is still open. The session on Practice will be held Thursday, March 9, 6-8 p.m., and the session on Applications will take place the following Thursday, March 16, at the same time.
- The next Dharma Talk in the Interfaith Sharing Series takes place April 21 and will be hosted by Zen Master Jeong Ji/Anita Feng. Register here.
- The Spring Workshop Series on “Leading by Centering the Margins” is moderated by Rev. Dr. Edward Donalson III. The first session on “White Christian Nationalism and Rage” begins April 27 and the second session on “Trans-Formation” begins on May 25. - CEIE is co-sponsoring, with Temple de Hirsch Sinai, a day with Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the leading anti-hate organization in the world, the Anti-Defamation League. Please hold May 25 and sign up today.
- On March 28 CEIE is hosting an in-person breakfast with Advisory Council member Maurice Bloem of Church World Service as he starts his annual CWS 100-Mile Walk—this year on SU’s campus—to fight hunger around the world. Register on Eventbrite to join for the breakfast.
