Commencement Update

The following message was sent to non-law students on the possibility of a Commencement date change:

As you spend time with family over the holidays, some of you will undoubtedly consider and discuss your plans for the end of academic year in June. For those of you graduating and wanting to turn your eyes toward commencement, we affirm that we are planning for an in-person ceremony, provided CDC guidance and local regulations continue to indicate that it is safe, and not prohibited, to do so. 

This email is to advise you that SU Commencement 2022 will take place between Sunday, June 12 and Tuesday, June 14, 2022, with Baccalaureate Mass on either June 11 or 12. The date has not been finalized because we do not yet have a venue under contract. We are doing our very best to get a contract inked and hope to have a final date to announce soon. We appreciate your patience and understanding with this reality of our urban location. Please continue to keep June 12-14 held for this celebration until we have a firm date to announce.

We cannot wait to celebrate your accomplishments in person, and we look forward to planning a memorable event! We will be in touch as soon as we have additional information to share.
