Encourage Students to Attend LinkUp 2023

Encourage your students to jumpstart their new year with LinkUp, the signature networking and speed mentoring event. This casual, informal and approachable event provides an easy entry for students new to networking and a fun opportunity for more experienced students to extend their networks.

While focused on College of Arts and Sciences students and alums, but all are welcome to participate.

The event starts with a warm-up session where students and mentors are paired randomly. After this first round of connections, students can connect with mentors whose experience meets their goals and interests.

Prior to the networking rounds, students participate in a short workshop where they learn the basics of networking, practice introducing themselves, and how to request future informational conversations from professional mentors.

This event is co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and Dean’s Leadership Council, Seattle University Board of Regents, Career Engagement Office, Seattle University Alumni Association and the Alumni Board of Governors, Graduates of the Last Decade Chapter (GOLD), Alumni and Students of Color (ASOC), College of Arts and Sciences Student Executive Council, College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Council.
