Following is a message from the Office of Student Persistence:
Student Persistence, your partner in fostering student success and well-being, is thrilled to introduce the exciting changes taking place in our office. As we take this step forward, we want to convey our mission clearly to reflect our commitment to this work.
The Office of Student Persistence is committed to advancing students' academic success, financial well-being and sense of belonging at Seattle U. We help students achieve their academic goals and complete their degree through offering holistic supports and advocacy.
We can support students with:
- Academic Concerns
- Scholarship Research
- Financial Wellness
- Resource Referrals
- College Navigation
- Connecting to Community
- And more
Under the leadership of our new Associate Director for Student Persistence, Mia Stroutsos, we hope to lead new initiatives and provide resources to students that build advocacy skills, navigate institutional barriers, and create a more equitable, accessible, and inclusive campus environment.
Whether you are a student, a staff member or a faculty member, we invite you to join us in this campus-wide effort for student persistence. We look forward to collaborating with you on this exciting journey.
