Fall Opening Town Hall Video Now Available

During a Town Hall forum with faculty and staff on Sept. 20, President Peñalver and other university leaders discussed Seattle University’s preparations for fall quarter and the ongoing response to COVID-19. Topics of discussion included: health and safety measures, vaccinations, the Safe Start daily health screening, face coverings, testing, isolation and quarantine, and ventilation. Recognizing the hard work of faculty and staff in response to continuing challenges, President Peñalver also announced that Christmas Break will now begin Monday, Dec. 20. (The break was originally scheduled to begin Friday, Dec. 24.) The university will reopen Monday, Jan. 3.
