Information Session: Migration Justice Immersion in Mexico
Posted: September 11, 2023
Migration Justice Immersion in Mexico (23FQ course, Winter break 2023 travel). Grounded in the concept of community development, in which the community comes together to take collective action, this immersion offers participants insight into Kino Border Initiative’s work toward migration justice in Nogales, Mexico. Bi-weekly on-campus meetings during fall quarter provide the context to learn and work with them for justice.
The immersion is $800 plus airfare and is scheduled for Dec. 15-21, 2023. Most of the program fee is a donation to support Kino’s work and students will fundraise together to make the experience accessible to all. The course is open for 23FQ registration: HUMT 3850-01.
