Join the Climb at the Event Planners Summit

Planning a meaningful event requires vision, careful planning and great partners. If you plan events on behalf of Seattle University, whether on- or off-campus, you are invited to lace up your boots, grab your backpack and earn your planning merit badges at the Event Planners Summit!

This summit kicks off a series of ongoing gatherings where our community of event managers will come together to share best practices, opportunities for collaboration, small wins and big victories.

TRAIL MAP (What to expect)

• Meet your guides and fellow mountaineers: Collaborate with the new University Events team and fellow event managers across campus
• Fill up your backpack: Explore an updated suite of planning resources
• Survey the landscape: Learn more about the findings from this summer’s Event Audit, and how that baseline informs how we move forward
• Map out your climb: We’ll trek through the full event production timeline, including items that are unique to planning engagements at Seattle University
• Trail snacks: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! No trekking journey would be complete without some carb loading. We’ll have some tasty treats to fuel our climb.
