Law Faculty Receives Support From U.S. District Court

School of Law Distinguished Practitioner in Residence Margaret Fisher has received another year of funding to offer the Judicial Institute in partnership with the Court. Started in 2012, the institute is designed to provide teachers grades 5-12 firsthand knowledge and practical curriculum training to advance their teaching techniques and content about the U.S. Constitution, federal judiciary and issues of civil rights, federal-state courts and federal criminal law. More than 580 teachers have participated in the program statewide.
