New Director of Strategic Communications

I am very pleased to announce that Tara Lee has joined Seattle University as our new Director of Strategic Communications. Tara is a seasoned communicator with extensive experience in communications, media relations and public policy. Most recently, she oversaw communications in the Office of Governor Jay Inslee. She received her Master of Public Administration from Seattle University in 2007. Prior to her time in the governor’s office, Tara worked for PATH, the Washington State Budget & Policy Center and the Arcora Foundation, and earlier in her career in higher education.

Please join me in welcoming Tara back to SU and her role overseeing strategic communications, media relations and crisis communications and proactively shaping and sharing Seattle University’s story across earned, owned and shared media.
