OMA Speaks: Unpacking the History of Thanksgiving
Posted: November 9, 2022
OMA Speaks is a monthly community dialogue series. The purpose of OMA Speaks is to create opportunities for students, staff and faculty to engage in meaningful dialogue about current topics related to identity, diversity and inclusion.
For OMA’s November event, we will discuss the history behind Thanksgiving and how the holiday erases the harm that settlers caused and are still causing Native Americans. Bring a lunch and engage in dialogue with us!
