"Precious, Precious, Unprecious" Opens Oct. 26 at Hedreen Gallery

A new show is opening at the Hedreen Gallery on Thursday, Oct. 26. Join us that day from 5 to 8 p.m. for an opening reception and artist talk.
“Precious, Precious, Unprecious” features artists Colleen Louise Barry and Craig Mammano and is curated by SU Photography alumnus Jake Alexander in collaboration with Associate Professor Claire Garoutte.
Open from Oct. 26 to Dec. 21, this exhibition explores the provocative medium of self-publication as a spectrum, as seen through the works of Seattle-based artists and bookmakers, Colleen Louise Barry and Craig Mammano. By erasing the guidelines and constructs of the publishing world juggernaut, artists are left only with their freedom to create exactly what they want, how they want it.
