Redhawk Dining Celebrates Black History Month by Showcasing Black-owned Businesses Next Week

In celebration of the month of February being Black History Month, Redhawk Dining is partnering with the Black Student Union to feature Black-owned businesses in Cherry Street all week long! Each day from February 21 to 24, Fusion will host a local restaurant from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to showcase their restaurant’s menu for Redhawks to enjoy! With every purchase, 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Black Student Union Scholarship. At the end of the week on Thursday, Feb. 24, Redhawk Dining will host a fair with local vendors.

Years later, he began his food adventure alongside his wife, Mari, while participating in Summer festivals throughout King County. Their passion for fresh, hot and tasty food led them to collaborate, naming their food truck Chick’N Fix.”  
  • Thursday, Feb. 24: Chef Michael Mason from Mason Cheesecake Co. | Every Cheesecake Has a Story!

    “Michael Mason began experimenting with various cheesecake ideas while finishing his culinary education at Renton Technical College. His vision: To expand upon a loved dessert, creating delightful flavors that even the most refined palate would appreciate.”
