Seattle University Receives Additional Funding to Support Transformative Movements Project

Seattle University has received additional support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to convene social movement leaders in strategizing how to advance transformative practice in movement training, strategy development and mobilization for racial and gender justice. Led by Dr. Rachel E. Luft (Sociology) and Malkia Devich-Cyril, this project will create a public report for movement organizers, scholars and philanthropies. This marks the fourth grant awarded to SU from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to support Dr. Luft's work.
