Student Employment Listening Sessions
Posted: May 26, 2022
From the Enhance the Student Employment Experience Working Group:
As part of Goal 3 of the Strategic Directions, we seek to "Enhance the Student Employment Experience." Student employees and their supervisors, as well as the departments that hire students, are key stakeholders in the student employment program and we want to hear from you. We also want to hear from students who have an interest in working on campus or faculty/staff who are interested in hiring students. Please join us in the following listening sessions:
- Faculty/Staff | Wednesday, June 1 | 3 - 4p.m. | In-person, BANN 441
- Faculty/Staff | Thursday, June 9 | 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. | Virtual, Zoom link here
- Students | Thursday, June 2 | 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. | Virtual, Zoom link here
These sessions will be discussion-based and intended for you to express your thoughts and ideas, i.e. there will not be a presentation - so come prepared to share!
Note that this is not the only opportunity to provide input for student employment. A survey is forthcoming, and you can expect more listening sessions next academic year as we approach various mile markers in our strategic plan.
