SU Featured in Land Management Report

Seattle University is among the institutions profiled in The State of Ecological Campus Land Management Across the U.S. Released by Herbicide Free Campus (HFC), the first-of-its-kind report details the costs and benefits of and practices required in transitioning from conventional land care and synthetic pesticides to organic land care. 

SU has been a leader in pesticide-free land care since 1986, garnering the attention of other universities across the country and students and grounds managers wanting to go pesticide-free. SU Grounds has been a member of Herbicide Free Campus for the past year participating in webinars that help other schools plan for reducing pesticides in their land care strategies.
