While summer can be a slow season for many campus areas, it is a time that Event Sales and University Events ramp up and serve approximately 40 overnight programs.

Each week, Event Sales will send an update on the groups you can expect to see at Seattle University. In the upcoming few weeks, you may see guests around campus from the following programs:

New Programs

  • Academic Enrichment Program: a Rainier Scholars program, supported by Seattle University Admission, to provide low-income, first-generation students of color with college access support and resources.
  • Climb Debate Camp: an international youth camp to provide instruction in debating and speaking, managed by Seattle University’s debate director.
  • INSPIRE Conference: an event focused on bringing teams from Catholic schools across the Seattle Archdiocese (and beyond!) together for some inspiration, learning, and collaboration with colleagues.
  • TECNA: the annual conference for the Technology Councils of North America; an opportunity for association staff to connect, learn and share with counterparts from across the US and Canada.
  • Advancing Eye Care: a professional conference from the Optometric Physicians of Washington.
  • Fukuoka University: a program organized by the International Student Center for law students from Japan.
  • National Yunlin University Study Abroad: a program for visiting MBA students from Taiwan.

Continuing Programs

  • Baseball Camps: A baseball day camp, taught by our Seattle University baseball coaches.
  • Texas State University Extension Career Exploration Course: Public Relations in Seattle: a seven-day field trip to study the public relations industry in Seattle, including networking with industry leaders in Amazon, Expedia, Pike's Place Market, Microsoft, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Discovery Center, and Weyerhauser.
  • Tech Revolution Camps/Lavner Education: weekly summer youth camps in computer coding, robotics, game design, and engineering
