Tech & Society Reading Group

In the spirit of “Where Innovation Meets Humanity,” the Tech & Society Reading Group seeks to engage all stakeholders in the ethical, legal and social issues surrounding rapid technological advancement. Group participants will have the opportunity to be discussion leaders, ensuring all perspectives across disciplines are presented and valued. Organizers hope this will illuminate discipline-specific blind spots.
The reading group will meet once a month during the workday around lunchtime on campus given general availability of interested readers. Each discussion will be scheduled to last one hour but we will have a flexible end time to allow spirited discussion to organically conclude. Each meeting will have lunch provided for readers who RSVP and will be hosted in the Lemieux Library.
