During Phase 1, the University Core Working Group, in consultation with all Seattle University faculty and campus stakeholders, presented a revised set of UCOR curricular goals (2022-2023). These reimagined goals are now guiding the revision of the Core structure in Phase 2 (2023-2024).
Please join the working group as they:
- Provide updates on previously shared elements of the revised UCOR curricular structure.
- Introduce further elements under consideration.
- Solicit your feedback through small- and large-group discussion.
Beyond the introduction of these elements at the forum, the working group plans to offer other opportunities to provide feedback through surveys and listening sessions this term.
Your feedback is crucial to our task of reimagining our distinctive foundational education. All faculty and academic staff are welcome to join the conversation as the Core prepares students for their major coursework. The working group is particularly interested in receiving feedback from the faculty who teach in the University Core.
More information about the process and resources prepared by the UCOR WG can be found at Reimagining in the University Core.
