Please join the Institute for Catholic Thought and Culture for the Patrick Howell, S.J., Catholic Heritage Series Discussion Panel. Catherine Clifford, PhD, of St. Paul University will speak on “Seeking Unity in a Divided World,” discussing the new challenges that have arisen given the significant evolution of the ecumenical landscape reflected in the rise of evangelical and Pentecostal movements and the expansion of Christianity in the global south. Orlando Espin, PhD, of the University of San Diego will speak on “Vatican II and the Latino/a/x Church” exploring the question: Can U.S. Catholics dismiss the fact that the majority of the People of God (in the U.S.) are now the racially and culturally marginalized?
