R. Davila attends Bellarmine College Preparatory in San Jose, Calfornia and wants to pursue a degree in Social Work.  R. is active within the Latino Student Union, Maker Lab, Theater Arts program, yearbook, and the radio station at their high school.  Additionally, R. is very engaged in supporting undocumented, low-income families in San Jose.  R. embodies the ideology of developing one's whole self and advocating with and for others.  R. states in their essay: "I am a servant leader, which means listening and empathizing with others.  When we show confidence and a willingness to use one's own voice to inspire love and empathy, we are being leaders."
