She is also the co-founder of the Equity and Justice Committee within the College of Nursing, dedicated to the needs of first generation college students, low income students, and students of color.
Her favorite place to hang out is the Outreach Center, a new space on campus dedicated to serving First Generation college students and Veteran students.
In the next few years, Dominique hopes to go to Chile to see her family, learn a new language, and work in her neighborhood in Los Angeles.
