Sophia Hounton attends Saint Mary’s Academy in Portland, Oregon, and hopes to major in Psychology. Her breadth of involvement spreads from her school – Black Student Union, Student of Color Connect Member, Science Olympiad, to name a few – to her community through racial justice activism, volunteering, and artistry. She exuded her passion for social justice and advocacy consistently throughout the Sullivan process, and stated in her interview: “I want to deconstruct my biases and use it to uplift others.”
