Sharon Ideguchi – Bellarmine Preparatory in Tacoma, WA

Sharon played alto saxophone and was section leader in the Wind Ensemble and played tenor saxophone in the Jazz Band; she travelled to Europe with the Washington Ambassadors of Music. She volunteered at a variety of organizations that supported veterans, homeless people, and residents of an assisted living facility. She was a Marine Chemistry Researcher for 3 years, diving to collect samples in the Puget Sound and counting fish near Hawaii. Sharon worked two summers as an Interpreter at the Point Defiance Zoo. She was a member of the National Honor Society.
