Alonso Lee attends the Jesuit High School in Carmichael, CA and plans to pursue a degree in Philosophy with the goal of eventually attending Law School. Alonso’s commitment to advocacy began in his high school and grew out into the national Jesuit community and extends across borders. He was president and founding member of TeamCare, a club which eventually advocated for his school to develop a wellness center. He served as the Equity & Inclusion Coordinator and Secretary Treasurer in his student government, ran the 200- and 400-meter races on his varsity track team, and was Co-President of the Latinos Unidos cultural club at his school. Alonso states it best in his Sullivan application; “I learned very quickly that my calling is to help uplift, encourage, and impassion those afraid of oppression.”
