Allison Saunders – Punahou School in Honolulu, HI

Allie was Co-founder and Chair of Fahrenheit73, a student-led project addressing overheated classrooms in Hawaii. For 3 years she was a Teaching Assistant for the Hawaiian Arts and Cultural Program at her school; she also shared the culture of Hawaii on a Capstone China trip to Beijing. She was the Yearbook Editor, Captain of the Mock Trial team, and trombone player in the marching band. Allie volunteered at HUGS (Help, Understanding and Group Support), providing respite care for critically ill children and their siblings. She was a National Honor Society member.
