Dajeanne Washington graduated from Garfield High School in Seattle, WA. She was a member of the YMCA Black Achievers and participated in a multitude of service projects. Dajeanne was the concertmistress for her school’s orchestra and was a member of her school’s cheer squad, Mock Trial team and Composting Club. She has discussed social justice and engaged in service projects along side college students through SU’s Just Serve program. As a member of the Gate’s Foundation Teen Committee, she worked as a facilitator to support adult mentors and teen members.
