Seattle University students, faculty, and staff are responsible for storing and securing their own bicycle in designated areas on campus. Bicycles may not be stored in hallways, bathrooms, stairwells, or in any path of egress. Any bicycle found in non-designated locations will be subject to impound. There are bicycle racks located near the entrances of resident halls and academic buildings.
Bicycle registration is valid during the academic year during which it is registered and will expire on June 30th. Please renew your bicycle registration annually. Any unregistered bicycle left on-campus is subject to removal by the Department of Public Safety and Transportation (DPST). If your bicycle is missing or stolen, please contact DPST at 206.296.5990.
To register your bicycle with DPST, fill in the following form and press the 'Submit' button. You will receive a confirmation email and registration number from our office within 5 business days. If you do not receive this email or have questions, contact the DPST Crime Prevention Unit at DRM@seattleu.edu.
Completion of all fields is required for registration. You may also update or cancel a previously registered bicycle with DPST by selecting the appropriate box at the beginning of this form.
