Enjoy a spring concert on the Quad. Test your communications skills and write an article for the student newspaper or host a program at campus radio station KXSU. Tutor other students. Run for student government. Move your body at UREC. Build community with Intramural Sports. Belt out a song with one of the university’s four choir groups. Join the Earth Action Coalition and plan events for Earth Day. Or let others entertain and inspire you. Concerts, films, poetry readings, and lectures by world leaders challenge students with exciting stories and unique perspectives.
Whether you’re an athlete or a fan, you’ll score some great memories. There’s more to cheer for than ever, and the cheer squad, dance squad, pep band and RedZone (the school spirit and athletic supports club) will help you celebrate.
In the spirit of a street fair, all student clubs and organizations set up booths outside the Student Center early in the fall quarter to talk about their activities and recruit new members.
Our clubs range in focus from community service, cultural heritage, and honor societies to professional development and recreation. The list includes Habitat for Humanity, Vietnamese Students Association, Photography Club, Black Student Union, and the Society of Women Engineers. Take a look at the whole list; or, better yet, come for a visit and see for yourself!
" Seattle University has given me freedom. The freedom to learn...the freedom to grow...the freedom to explore different opportunities that I would not have been exposed to."
