End of Year Cleanup in TerminalFour

Happy Friday, Seattle U Content Editors:
Several things to share with you, all under the umbrella topic of End-of-Year Clean-Up in TerminalFour:
RSVP for the 19SQ Web Forum
We are holding our spring quarter web forum (okay, it’s a little bit after the quarter is over, but I digress) on Wed, June 19 from 1-2pm in PIGT 103.
The topic is: Streamline Your Site This Summer. We’ll be sharing our recommendations for things you can do this summer to review your site’s content for accuracy, relevance, unnecessary duplication, accessibility, and other quality issues, and create a plan to address these issues in order to make your website easier to manage throughout the year.
If you can attend, please RSVP using the form on our website.
Clean-Up in the “T4 Playground”
We are doing our annual clean-up of the “T4 Playground” (our shared online training space) and we plan to delete everything in the folder at the end of the month.
If you have a section in the Playground that you do not want us to delete, please let the Web Team know by Friday, June 28th.
Purge Deleted Content
While we are in end-of-year cleaning mode: Do you have inactive content or sections that you wish to be permanently deleted from the system?
Please let us know if you have inactive content and sections in a Trash folder that we can purge for you.
Review Who Has Permission to Edit Your Site
Now is a great time to review the list of users who have permission to edit your websites. Perhaps you are, or have, a student employee who will be leaving at the end of the school year and will no longer need access to the CMS.
If you no longer need access to the CMS, please let us know and we can remove you from the system (and then you will stop receiving emails sent to the content editors listserv).
Give us Your Feedback
As we’re at the end of another academic year, and we would love to get your feedback about your experience as a content editor.
Please fill out a short survey and let the Web Team know what we can do to better support you as a content editor, and what improvements you’d like to see in TerminalFour!
As always, thank you for everything you do to keep your websites up-to-date, and looking great!
Best wishes,
Jason Beardriel and Megan Otis
