Happy Friday, content editors!
Missing form submission emails? Check your junk mail!
It’s recently come to our attention that some TerminalFour form submission emails are being delivered to the junk mail folder in your Seattle U email. We’re working with ITS to investigate this issue at the system level, but if you discover that your form submission emails are going to your junk folder, make sure you add web@seattleu.edu (or even add the entire @seattleu.edu domain) to your “safe senders” list in Outlook!
ORSSP website URLs changing
The Office of Research Services and Sponsored Projects (ORSSP) has changed its name to the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP). Along with the name change, they will be changing the URL of their websites from seattleu.edu/orssp to seattleu.edu/sponsored-projects. This change will happen next week, on Wednesday, November 1st.
If you have links to the office formerly known as ORSSP:
- If possible, replace your “external links” with “section links” so that these changes will be automatic and smooth for you and your users.
- If it’s not possible to use “section links,” make sure you have a plan in place to update all of your external links to the Office of Sponsored Projects’ website as soon as possible after the change is made on Wed, Nov 1 in order to prevent your users from receiving 404 errors.
- If you have used “section links,” then you don’t need to worry! TerminalFour will update your links for you automatically when OSP’s website URL changes.
Update on design refresh time frame
The timeframe for rolling out the design refresh and template changes will mid- to late-November. We are planning to hold a demonstration and training session for content editors shortly thereafter, in early December. Stay tuned for more details soon.
If you have any questions, please let us know. And have a great weekend, everyone!
