November is Black Catholic History Month! November is appropriate for this celebration because it holds special days for two prominent African Catholics: St. Martin de Porres whose feast day is celebrated on November 3 and St. Augustine whose birthday is on November 13

Just three weeks into the quarter, and ICTC has had a full calendar! From Sr. Prejean’s lecture last month, through all the beginning of the year festivities, up until our first Catholic Heritage Lecture last week with Dr. Tom Landy (Catholic & Cultures), ICTC's new interim director has had her hands full. The ICTC welcomes Dr. Jeanette Rodriguez as the Interim Director and Malcolm and Mari Stamper Endowed Chair in Catholic Intellectual and Cultural Traditions. Working alongside Dr. Rodriguez is Jessica Palmer, Assistant Director, and Amber Larkin, Program Coordinator.
