Host Your Video on YouTube or Vimeo

Once your video is hosted, all you need is the Video ID to add it to our website.

We have three video content types, the most common is the Video - Embedded which plays a video in ZoneA.

To add the video:

1. Get the Video ID from the hosting service. It will look something like this:
   1. eYJOJg48r0Y
2. Paste the ID into the Video ID field.
3. Save the content item.

If you are having trouble finding the Video ID it will be part of the URL you see when watching the video on the hosting service. You can also find it in the studio editor.

Publish Your PDF First

Sometimes you need to share a link directly to a PDF. But before any link to a PDF in our Media Library will work the PDF must be published.

Take these steps to generate a link to a new PDF:

1. Upload the PDF to the Media Library;
2. Add the PDF to a live web page;
3. Wait for the live page to publish with the PDF;
4. Right-Click the PDF link and choose Copy Link Address.

Now you've got a link to the PDF you can share via email, social, etc.

These instructions are for Google Chrome so right-clicking to copy a link address can vary in different browsers.

With the upgrade to T4, the default logout page was prompting users to login via their local login process. This caused a lot of 401 errors as the university uses its own authentication system for T4.

To help reduce confusion, we updated the T4 logout page to the SU Web Team homepage. You can find the correct link to T4 login from our home page.

To prepare for the next version of our Faculty and Staff Bio content type, we need to do some cleanup now.

We expect the full new version to be ready by Spring, but before then we need our content editors to do some housekeeping on the existing items. This will repair SEO issues with the existing bio.
